Tea, cake and cats. What more could you ask for. Really friendly staff. Cats were a delight although most of them were asleep when we visited. Generous pot of tea and big slice of cake at an extra cost. Would recommend pre-booking visit
Came yesterday with my boyfriend (he made the initial booking). For a start the staff are very talkative and ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. The cats... lets just say I went in wanting to get over my fear of cats and left wanting to take every single one home. They were so gentle and so nice to us, even the kittens. Food wise, I got a chocolate brownie and a hot chocolate which were delicious. Definitely going to come back at some point!
If you’re a cat lover you MUST visit this cute little cat cafe. It was our first time in York and we didn’t know York is called “the city of cats” but we were thrilled to walk past this place! We were able to secure a walk in spot with only an hours notice which gave us a little time to explore the area. They have over 20 cats here, all of which are extremely adorable. The smoothies, tea, cake, and scones were delicious too! The cake portions are huge so be prepared, but every bite was fantastic. We especially loved Pumpkin, the fluffy orange cat who was very eager to try and snag a bite of our snacks Love this place and the work they do for the local cats.

You can tell the staff really care for the cats—they’re well looked after, content, and clearly at ease around visitors. The food and drink were delightful as well! I highly recommend the flapjack and hot chocolate; they were the perfect cozy treats to enjoy while surrounded by these adorable felines. Overall, I absolutely loved my experience and would recommend it to any cat fan!
It's such a great place! Staff very friendly and always on hand to tell you about all the cats. The place was well set up for a purr-fect visit ;) The cats and kittens were all very friendly and would happily come over to you and let you stroke them. The hour flew by and would definitely go back again. Thanks.
Such a lovely experience at the cafe yesterday. All of the kitty's are clearly happy and so well looked after with the owner taking time to spend with us to tell us about each cat including their names and relationships to each other. A cosy, chilled environment. Nice refreshments and my Mum was given a lovely suprise when her cake arrived decorated for her Birthday. A must for anyone that is a kitty fan
Amazing people take care of the rescued cats in a very quiet environment where the visits are controlled. You need to book the space to make sure that is not too much for the cats.
Came here with my girlfriend. Great atmosphere, really lovely staff and the cats are super funny and playful. The drinks were reasonable priced, had a decaf tea which was really nice :)
